Faculty of History Holds The Third Ningyihongdao Prize for Charming Teachers Competition

On November 4, 2016, Faculty of History hosted the third Ning Yihongdao Charming Teacher Competition in Nankai University, Jinnan campus. Prof. Lin Hekun, Prof. Zhao Boxiong, Prof. Zhang Fengtian. Prof. Ma Shili and Prof. Sun Liqun were invited as the judges. Prof. Liu Zunzhi, Prof. Li Fan, Prof. Zhang Si, Prof. Yan Aimin, Prof. Yemin, and Prof. Hu Baohua presented courses. The attendees included Prof. Zhao Guimin, Secretary of the Party committee; Prof. Yu Xinzhong, Associate Dean; as well as nearly 40 teachers and students.

     Coordinated by Prof. Yu Xinzhong, he introduced the NingYihongdao Prize and the competition process. Then, six candidates made outstanding course presentations in turn. Centering on the general theory of field archaeology, Prof, Liu Zunzhi explained the whole process of archaeologist excavation. Prof. Li Fan selected the topic of Munich Agreement, revealing its background, essence and consequences, helping students get a better understanding. Prof. Zhang Si introcuced the course criteria and how to learn Chinese modern history. Prof. Yan Aimin selected Bao Renanshu to emphasize the importance of intensive reading and comparing different versions of documents. Prof. Ye Min summarized the course of ancient Roman history and ancient Roman heritages. Prof. Hu Baohua gave a lecture of the Chen Pu Battle. After all presentatons, Prof. Sun Liqun delivered a speech on behalf of the committes and he prasied six teachers’ bfief and excellent presentations.

 Finally, the Charming Teacher Award went to Prof. Hu Baohua, Prof. Yan Aimin and Prof. Liu Zunzhi. Prof. Li Fan, Prof. Zhang Si and Prof. Ye Min won the prize of nomination.
