On December 30, the appointment ceremony of retired Prof. Wei Hongyun, Liu Zehua, Feng Erkang, Nan Bingwen, Qiao Zhizhong, Sun Liqun, Zhang Fengtian and Du Jiaji as Honorary Professor of NKU was held in the Faculty of History. Mrs. Zhao Guimin, secretary of the party committee in the Faculty of History, hosted the ceremony. All Professors of the History Faculty attended the ceremony.
At the appoint ceremony, Dean Jiang Pei spoke highly of eight professors for their contributions to the promotion of the Faculty of History after explaining the concept, standards and procedures of the Honorary Professor. He reviewed these professors’ academic achievements in recent years. Prof. Nan Bingwen, Prof. Qiao Zhizhong, Prof Sun Liqun, Prof. Zhang Fentia, Prof. Du Jiaji delivered a speech respectively at the appointment ceremony. All of them said that they would continue to make their contribution to the research of history, which received a long time of warm applause.
