On April 21, Prof. Yu Gengzhe, from the School of History in Shaanxi Normal University, gave a lecture on “Qi: A key to Understanding the Thinking Mode of Chinese Classical Medicine” in NKU. More than 60 students and teachers attended the forum.
Hosted by Prof. Yu Xinzhong, Associate Dean of the Faculty of the History, Prof. Yu Gengzhe introduced the connection between the Chinese classical medicine and the thinking mode of classical medicine. He explained the definition of “Qi” from different perspectives and stressed the importance of understanding the thinking mode of classic medicine, which was the best way to understand the history of ancient disease. The attendees asked several interesting questions and got valuable suggestions.
