Issue No. 2 of Nankai Historical Studies was officially published recently.
The journal was first published in 1980 and it ceased publication in 1993. In January, 2019, the publication of the journal resumed. New columns have been set up after the resumption of the publication, such as “Historical Theories”, “Chinese History”, “World History”, “Historical Geography”, “History of Technology”, “Transcultural Studies”, “Archeology and Museology”, book reviews and academic literature reviews. The journal is committed to becoming a high-level academic platform that manifests openness and bears hallmarks of Nankai historians. It emphasizes academic originality and creativity, advocates academic debates and encourages interdisciplinary studies.
