On June 30, Nankai University held a conference on scientific research awards. At the conference, Professors Wang Xianming and Ding Jianmin from the Faculty of History respecticely won Outstanding Contribution Award and Youth Innovation Award.
Professor Wang Xianming mainly teaches and studies the social history of modern China and rural history. Professor Ding Jianmin, a Vice Dean of the Faculty of History, mainly studies disease and medical history, early American history and history of American race relations.
