Recently, the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences published the lists of the 2022 Key Projects of National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC), the National Collection of Philosophy and Social Sciences Works, and the NSSFC Rarely Studied Topics.
The research projects of several teachers of the Faculty of History have been included in the lists, including Professor Bian Li’s Compilation and Study of Rural Economy and Social Historical Materials in Household Account Books of the Qing Dynasty, the eighth NSSFC Key Project of our teachers that have been approved; Professor Zhang Rongqiang’s The Formation and Development of Household Registration System since the Warring States Period, which is included in the National Collection of Philosophy and Social Sciences Works and an achievement of the NSSFC Key Projects; and Associate Professor Ma Zimu’s Compilation and Research of Comparative Texts in Manchu, Mongolian, and Chinese Versions of The Veritable Records of the Qing Dynasty's Founding Emperor, which is included in the list of NSSFC Rarely Studied Topics.
In addition, nine other teachers of the Faculty of History have won funding by the NSSFC Annual Projects and NSSFC Youth Projects, 1 teacher has won the funding of the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Research Projects, and 2 teachers have won funding of Tianjin Municipal Social Science Planning Projects. The total fund of the above mentioned projects amounts to approximately RMB three million Yuan.
