Introduction to World History
Based on the general history of the world and using language as a tool, we attach importance to the breadth and depth of study. Emphasis is placed on cultivating students’ interdisciplinary communication vision and language learning ability. In terms of ancient history, the study of Ancient Greek history and Ancient Roman history has a long historical standing. Byzantine History is an outstanding subject of world history research in our faculty. Other subjects such as History of China and the United States, History of Britain, History of Latin America, History of East Asia, History of Canada and History of Russia are also excellent. Especially the American History and Latin American history, which with abundant academic resources. The American History and Culture Research Center, the Latin American Studies Center and Greek Civilization Research Center are key parts among domestic research centers. The History of International Relations attaches great importance to the cooperation with research institutions of the countries and regions which are objects of study, so as to build a high-level communication platform for students.
