Résumé: He Xiaorong, male, of Han ethnicity, born in September 1966 in Lianshui County, Jiangsu Province, is a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Faculty of History of Nankai University, Director of the Research Center for Gugongnology and the Ming and Qing Courts at Nankai University, Director of the Research Center for Ming and Qing Dynasty History of Nankai University, and Vice President of the Chinese Society on Ming Dynasty History. He is also a Doctor of History. 

Research areas mainly include Ming and Qing dynasty history, Chinese Buddhist history, and Gugongnology.
