Li Fan

Li Fan, male, was born in Jilin City, Jilin Province on December 24, 1958. He was admitted to the Department of History of Northeast Normal University in 1979 and received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. In 1993, he was admitted to the Institute of Middle Eastern Studies of Northwest University. He received his doctorate in June 1996, and graduated and was assigned to work at the Teaching and Research Office on World Modern and Contemporary History at the Department of History, Nankai University. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Teaching and Research Office on International Relations History, the Department of World History, Faculty of History, Nankai University. He is also a full-time researcher at the Teaching and Research Office on International Relations History. His research areas mainly include the history of modern international relations, with a focus on the history of Japanese diplomacy. He conducted long-term academic exchange activities at Ritsumeikan University and Waseda University in Japan as a visiting professor and exchange researcher.
