Zhang Juguo

Zhang Juguo, male, born in October 1969, a native of Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. He received his bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees from the Department of History of Yantai Normal University, the Department of History of Beijing Normal University and the Institute of History of Nankai University in 1993, 1996 and 2000, respectively. He is currently an associate professor at the Research Center for American History and Culture, Faculty of History, Nankai University, and is a tutor for master’s students studying under the American history program. He focuses on history of the 19th-century United States of America, American social movements and social reform, and the history of race relations.
